Jeremy Forward pulled double duty for the Chargers last week. He helped lead the varsity baseball team to a huge district win over Amelia where he went 2-2 at the plate with a pair of walks and 4 runs scored. J-For also helped the 400-meter relay team place second for the CHS track squad last week. Forward is just a sophomore but is already one of the main men on the varsity football, baseball & basketball teams while running track when his schedule allows it.
Ashley Rose
The freshman catcher on the JV softball team had a huge night at the plate last week in helping lead the team to their first win of the year. Rose went 3-5 but added 5 RBI on the day as well scoring 3 runs to help take part in 8 of the Chargers 15 runs. Rose also came through with the 6th inning go ahead double that plated several base runners and gave CHS the lead to stay.
